HISTORY OF THE LIBRARY:
            Our college new library building was opened on 29-09-1980 by his excellency Shri. Prabhudas Patwari, the then Governor of Tamil Nadu, under the presidentship of Late. Shri. A.G. Subburaman, M.P. Our College Library is functioning in a manual basis.  It fulfils the needs of the students in various fields of study.

Books:
A total number of 43594 volumes,38 journals 4 newspaper (English and Tamil) and educational CD’s, VHS cassettes, Maps,etc are available in this library.

	First floor stack room             -----      292.54 sq.m
	Total area                                -----   585.08 sq.m

Library Timings:

Working Hours           :           From 08.30 A.M to 03.30 P.M.

Library Users:
Students, Teaching Staff, Non-Teaching Staff, Guest and Alumni.

 

	Rules And Regulation:
	Every student should sign in the entry register.
	Keep silence in the library premises.
	Bring id card for borrowing books.
	Issue and return of books have been manually done.
	The students are not allowed to sub-lend the borrowed books.
	Costly or rare reference books cannot be taken outside the library.
	If the books are returned within the due date re.1/- will be charged as penalty per book per day.
	Books/journals/non book material selection suggestion can be made in a form available at the counter.
	Educational CD’s are lend out for readers on request.
	Use reservation slips for book reservation available at the book counter.
